Yes, the GNNC project identifies six potential applications of nanotechnologies with a positive impact in the eco-efficiency of the construction sector.

1. Nano materials

3. Nanoptics,

4. Nanoelectronics,

5. Integrated energy production

6. Waste handling

 

In our vision, these applications have the potential to help us on developing new lighter, stronger, thinner, insulating, self-repairing, self-cleaning, degradable materials in smart houses with novel types of energy efficient lightning and renewable integrated energy production.
